Walk the Talk Missions: Ensenada, Mexico

This past October, a group of Tradition employees took the trip of a lifetime to Ensenada, Mexico. The group joined various other individuals in partnership with Walk the Talk missions. Walk the Talk Missions not only goes on mission trips to help those in need but also to reveal to people around the world of the overwhelming need in northern Baja California region of Mexico.

Over five days the group built, furnished, and decorated a home for a family. In addition, they also spent time playing with children at the local Church and volunteered at an orphanage.

Executive Director Mark Quaas says “This short-term home building trip is essentially about bringing stability, to one family at a time, in a very tangible way. But, I must warn you: this is NOT just another construction trip. It will challenge you spiritually, emotionally, and relationally in a very long-term way."

After returning home from the trip, one Tradition employee said “My heart is so full. Last night I returned home from a mission trip in Ensenada, Mexico. After spending a week serving, I’ve learned what it really means to love, to serve and to be thankful. I will be forever grateful for this experience and will treasure those moments forever.”

Tradition is honored to have had the opportunity to get involved with such an amazing organization.
